logic:
- microcontroller

power:
- switch on/off
- battery charger IC
- voltage regulator
- battery (reserve physical space for it)

sensing:
- photocell/photosensor
- accelerometer
- capacitive sensor

output:
- an array of 6 LEDs (number of LEDs will depend on how many ports we have left)
- LED charging indicator
- LED microcontroller running

communication:
- infrared receiver
- infrared transmitted (we need to test angles and how many we can drive at the same time)
